Question:
Some people think that children should receive formal training at school on how to be good parents in the future. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Sample Answer:
Many people are of the opinion that school students should be formally trained to become good parents in the coming time. They think so due to various reasons but I don’t agree with this statement as children are too immature to be trained for parenting.
To start with, people have different opinions on the idea of teaching parenting skills to the school going children. This is due to their belief that parents who are not properly trained and educated on parenting lack skills on upbringing the children in the right way. For example, some parents let their kids eat fast food such as burger and pizza rather than freshly cooked food. This leads to the growing problem of obesity and therefore, if the children are taught several such issues beforehand, they can take good care of their own kids in the future when they become parents.
On the other hand, it can be argued that children are themselves too young to learn all the things required for good parenting. They are themselves, at this age, in the need of parenting. It would thus be too unrealistic for them to learn how to teach children. Secondly, it should be better taught at the time when they become parents. This can be delivered in the form of short training programmes where adults can learn and understand. Hence, the adult age is better to learn such things when they have a lot of concerns regarding parenting.
On the whole, it is not right at all to make the children learn the skills on how to look after the kids. The adult age, on the other hand, is the appropriate age when they can be made aware of all the things required to become good parents.

Exactly. For the first part, I scored 8.0, then 5.0 on the second one. I haven’t got to read the questions properly. Also, the flow of conversation seems to be non-stop. Is it also happening in the real IELTS exam? I mean, if you’ll be the unlucky one, you’ll get the non-stop conversation part? 🤣 Most probably, I’ll score low with that.
the second listening test is hard :) they didn't put a space between every 6 questions at least
