You have a full-time job and you are also doing a part-time evening course.
You now find that you cannot continue the course.
Write a letter to your teachers. In your letter
describe the situation
explain why you cannot continue at this time
say what action you would like to take
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear ................. ,
There are three main things to consider before writing your essay:
1. Tone (formal or informal)
Sometimes students are friendly with their tutors, but I think it would be better to write a formal letter. Start with your tutor’s surname (e.g. Dear Mr. Smith,) and end with “Yours sincerely,”. Avoid contractions (write “I am” instead of “I’m”), and avoid using informal idioms or expressions. Be polite rather than friendly.
2. Purpose
The main purpose of this letter is to inform your tutor that you are leaving the course. Make this clear straight away (e.g. I am writing to inform you that...). Then cover the three points, writing a short paragraph for each.
3. Ideas
I recommend spending a few minutes planning ideas for each of the task points before you start writing. You need to decide what the evening course is about, what your full-time job is, a reason why you are too busy with work to continue with the course, and whether you want to leave completely or perhaps continue at a later date.
You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
You should write at least 150 words.
Write about the following topic:
Nowadays we are producing more and more rubbish.
Why do you think this is happening?
What can governments do to help reduce the amount of rubbish produced?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Comments:
The amount of rubbish and waste being produced by humans is increasing rapidly. It is a common problem that the whole world is facing right now. Appropriate measures and steps must be undertaken before things become uncontrollable.
It is a known fact that with increase in population and industrialization the amount of waste churned out has also been growing enormously. The increase in consumption of packaged food products is one reason that has led to the growth in the amount of rubbish produced. Secondly the popularity of plastic products in the last couple of decades has also contributed to this menace of growing waste. Plastic products cannot be recycled and they are usually dumped near the sea shores which has also taken a huge toll on the marine life.
Moreover it is also noticed these days in some overcrowded cities the rubbish is usually disposed on dumping grounds in the middle of residential areas. It is huge thing of concern, because it poses serious threat to people’s health as it can become the reason for multiplying germs and diseases. Industrial waste is another reason that has led to increase in water pollution.
I believe this is a critical time and government and higher authorities should start taking corrective actions and measures immediately. Firstly government should ban the use of plastic products everywhere and should encourage the use of products which can be recycled. Furthermore government should impose a limit on the supply and use of paper products such as paper tissues and people should be urged to use resources like sanitizers and water for maintaining hygiene. Paper should be preserved and must be used judiciously.
Secondly government should encourage the industries to apply recycling mechanism to their industrial process to control the amount of residual waste produced. Lastly public awareness must be increased by organizing campaigns and meetings to urge people to be more responsible about this issue.
To conclude we can say that growth of waste and rubbish is now a global problem so every individual and world governing bodies should be responsible and act immediately to put a check on it.

Dear Teacher,
I am writing this letter in regards to the circumstances I am indulged in now a days since I have started my classes and cannot focus on my studies fully and consequently leaving my assignments submission on time and leaving focus on subjects I always loved to read about.
I am not sure I have brought that into your knowledge that I do full time job in an advertising agency and they demand full commitment, when I took admission last month it was my judgement that I will be able to spare some time for my studies but unfortunately since I have started my classes for one reason or the other I am always getting late in the office, sometime it’s a special request from my boss or sometime request to assist from a colleague, if not both then some deadline of my own project which makes me stay longer durations in office and I lose my precious time which I kept for my study.
I would like your kind assistance to understand my current my position and allow me to postpone this semester so that I can arrange my official matter and get back with full strength to the class.
In expectation of a positive reply and looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Sxy

Dear Ms. Lacson,
I am writing this letter to formally explain my absences from the Evening class at Normal University under your wing. As discussed with you over the phone, the main reason for my absenteeism is due to the increased in workload load and extended working hours from the company where I work as a full-time Accountant. The extra hours allotted for work have made it difficult for me to manage time between my job and completing the course. Thus, I would like to officially withdraw from your weekly evening class.
In Addition, the combine pressure that I have been managing for the past few weeks has placed my mental health and well-being at a greater risk and I could not stay at the same situation any longer. Although, I have expressed the intention to withdraw from your evening class, completing the course is one of the top priority to further my career. Therefore, I am widening my options by checking the possibilities of taking the course on weekends or perhaps an online class were I can work on my studies virtually with the flexibility of revisiting the past lessons and the ease to access the libraries
Your Assistance and understanding in this matter will be highly regarded.
Yours Sincerely,
Donna Belle

Dear Ms.Huston,
I am writing to inform you that I leave the vocal course because of my busy with my full-time job.

This project, and the deadline of it, is very important to our company. Due to this, I need to work a lot and I do not have free time for your course.
Nevertheless, I really want to end up the course and will be glad if I could to continue it later.
Probably, throw four weeks I enroll in the vocal course again and will finish it.
I hope my situation don not forced you to think that I am a bad learner, as you know how I enjoy getting knowledge from you.
Yours sincerely,

My first essay...
Rubbish is a problem of every household, society and the whole country. As the technology continues to be developed, in all sectors, rubbish also icreased in volume. In this days, rubbish are seen everywhere, in a particular places such as land, water, and air. Rubbish is in different forms such as foods, plastic, metal, carton, chemicals, etc.
Moreover, rubbish are produced by nonstop development and upgrading of technlogy. Continuous involvement of technology in different sectors such as manufacturing, agriclutural, and household operation are the main contributors of massive waste. Furtheremore, it is also the result of peoples' lack of waste management awareness.
I think the governemnt can help control the increasing volume by educating people and by implementing waste management control. Waste management is the process by which wastes are segregated into different categories; the biodegradable, non-biodegradable and recyclable. In this program, waste can be filtered out and be reduced into small volume. In addition to that, government can also help by alloting of budget for this program. The government should require all industry to comply with this strict waste management rules and regulation. The program also invloves hiring of additional staff that provide training and education to the people in community and acquisition of machinery use for recycling of waste into valuable materials and by-products.
In my experience, I have handled the waste management in the company I work for. I was able to reduce the waste to 50% in volume by adopting government control program.
I therefore believe that the increasing of rubbish is the result of modern technologies use in different sectors. And the government has the big role in controlling the volume of waste by creating program that help recovers the unnecessary waste.
Humans are the only species on the planet Earth, who have produced non biodegradable waste and posess the ability to destroy the planet with it. The amount of waste and rubbish we have been producing is exponentialy increasing every year. In the following paragraphs I will be discusing why us Humans have produced so much waste and potentially what people and governments around the world could do to help curb this.
Humans are the only species on this planet who have developed advanced neural functions through evolution and since then we have been finding ways to make our life easier. Through this journey there have been plethora of inventions centered around making our living comfortable. Since the industrial revolution we have mass produced a lot of things to fulfill the demand of ever expanding population. People accquire items to support their lifestyle and when a better alternative is available we tend to discard the old items. This cycle to own a new product and discard older items through out the decades has left mounds of garbage being collected. Most of the garbage humans have produced since is non biodegradable and is left for centuries polluting our seas, land and rivers. The garbage collection has increased even more since the information revolution and internet age where almost every day there is a new mobile phone, laptop or computer in the market urging consumers to upgrade and discard their old devices.
The onus of reducing the garbage can not be only on the governments of the world but also on the individuals. The governments have to form policies around recycling, proper disposal and reusability of items and individuals have to follow these regulations. There can be a rule implemented on mass producers that some percent of their produce has to come from recycled materials only. Also as an example some of the corporates have started producing items from the plastic waste removed from the oceans. This not only helps sustain better marine life but also helps in recycling and resuing waste. The individuals also have to ensure that they don't frequently discard items rather use them till its end of life.
In conclusion we only have one planet to live and humans are the only one with the capability to destroy or save it. We have make sustainable choices in garbage disposal, ensuring producing less waste and ensure reusing/recycling.
