/Grammar
  • Do you have a wide enough vocabulary to discuss topics at length, though word choice errors may occur when discussing unfamiliar topics?
  • Do you use a mix of simple and complex structures to discuss familiar topics, but with limited flexibility?
  • Do you make grammatical mistakes because of the interference of your native language?
Listening
  • Can you understand the main points of clear standard speech on familiar matters?
  • Are you unable to follow and understand fast and extended speech by many speakers with complex lines of argument?
Reading
  • Can you understand reading passages on familiar topics?
  • Do you have difficulties understanding academic IELTS reading passages?
Speaking
  • Can you communicate with some confidence on familiar topics or topics of interest?
  • Can you express thoughts on more abstract, cultural topics such as films, books, music, etc?
  • Do you use a range of pronunciation features, though mispronunciation of individual words or sounds reduces quality at times?
Writing
  • Can you write short essays with formulaic structures related to routine matters or topics of interest?
  • Do you use cohesive devices effectively, but cohesion within and/or between sentences may be faulty and mechanical?
  • Can you summarize or report information based on given structures?

COURSE DETAIL

Focus on intensive 4-skills practice based on IELTS test questions.
Provide test strategies for dealing with difficult questions, especially with Speaking and Writing.
Do mock-tests and receive detailed feedback from teachers.
Develop background knowledge, vocabulary, and grammar structures covering 10 academic topics in the IELTS exam.
