The given graph illustrates the percentage of population over 65 years old in three different countries such as Japan, Sweden and USA between the time period of 1940 to 2040.

It can be seen that the amount of people who are over 65 years old will increase significantly in 2040 with the highest spot belongs to Japan and the lowest spot belongs to the USA.

Looking at the chart in more details, the USA started off with nearly 10% of the population are in the age group of 65 and beyond, followed by that of Sweden with approximately 7% and that of Japan with 5% in 1940. During the next 60 years time period, the old population of all countries fluctuated. In the end of 2020, Sweden has overcome the USA as the country with highest percentage of old people over the age of 65 with nearly 20%. That of the USA come close in second place with over 15%, whereas Japan remains the lowest.

However, in the next 20 years from 2020 to 2040, it is predicted that there will be a remarkable rise in the number of old people in Japan, jumping from over 5% to nearly 26%. Both Sweden and USA will continue to rise in the number, increasing from under 20% to 25% and over 15% to approximately 23% respectively in 2040.

The most crucial thing of being wealthy is often thought to be the chance to help other person. In my opinion, I strongly agree with this idea as rich people can participate in charities and create more jobs for the communities.

To begin with, richness can grant people the ability to assist people, who are less fortunate than them by philanthropies and charities. It can lead to more underprivileged children go to school, more hospitals will be opened in the future. This will significantly benefit both the communities and the donors by giving them the attention and the fame they need. For instance, many famous athlete has come back to the neighbourhood that they lived in the past to donate the money and rebuild it. This has helped many children who grew up with no parents and no studies to find a better purpose in life.

Another reason it is so important is because it can create more job opportunies for unfortunate workers in the society. More and more people are fired due to the transition of company from human to machines. Therefore, most of them are in need of a new contract to be able to make a living. The elite classes can open more projects to support workers who are unemployed. Because of this, people will get job and money, while the bosses will get their things done.

In conclusion, this essay discussed why I agreed with the idea of the most important aspect of being wealthy is giving other people the helps they need. In my opinion, I think that being rich can help people by donating money and creating jobs in the community.
