Writing task 2

Technology is growing day by day and connecting people all over the world. It has also made learning new things easier. As a result universities have started offering their courses on the internet so that people can study online.

The online courses have been very helpful to many students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Students locked inside, were able to study from home because of the online courses provided by the universities. These online course not only hepled the local student but also the international students who could not physically attentd the lectures as they in their homeland during the pandemic.

Although some people find online course helpful, I believe that this is a negative development. I have seen students logging into the lectures through their laptops and rather than paying attention to the lectures they spend most of their time on the moblie. The teachers who are used to their conventional teaching methods try to update their self but not all are successfull in it. There are various types of online courses, some are pre-recorded videos of teachers and some are live lectures conducted through online meets. The drawback of the pre-recorded lectures is that the student cannot ask any queries right away. Finally, the exams held at the end of courses are also online, which gives the student a chance to cheat on the test.

In conclusion, a student who completed his/her education only through online courses without any practical or proper knowledge cannot be as qualified as a graduate and therefore I believe online courses is a negative development.
