Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant
You should write at least 150 words.

The given diagram illustrates the evolution of horse over the course of 40 million years.
As an overall view, horse evolution consists of four developments over the period of 40 years, specifically on the structure of the foot. It started with the so-called Eohippus, followed by Mesohippus, then Merychippus and finally the modern looking horse.
Eohippus from 40 million years ago, is a small looking horse with a distinct four-fingered animal. It then evolved 10 million years later and became Mesohippus, greatly larger in size compared to Eohippus, and the foot has three fingers. The third evolution happened 15 million years later, the so called Merychippus, it became quietly larger than the first and second evolution, and it looks more like a modern horse, however, the foot is the same as Mesohippus, with three fingers, yet bigger. The final evolution and now what we call the modern horse, is the largest of all the four evolutions. Hair and body features became more prominent, distinguishable from Merychippus, and the most important distinguishing feature is the foot, it has no more fingers and transformed into one large foot, unlike the first three horses.

‘Failure is proof that the desire wasn’t strong enough’
To what extent do you agree with this statement?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
You should write at least 250 words.

Many people believe that failure is an evident in which the desire was not strong enough. However, in this essay, I totally disagree with the statement because failure is inevitable, and it will always be a part of human success.
Initially, accepting the truth that failure is inevitable, no matter how low or strong the desire a person may have towards the goal they try to achieve, failure is always just around the corner. For instance, almost all successful businessman in today's world have experienced failure. Steve Jobs, the owner of apple was removed in his own company before due to some misunderstanding with his co-partner, yet he knew that failure will lead him nowhere so he started to open another company and finally regained the ownership of apple.
Furthermore, failure is always part of human success. People should always open their minds that when they fail in regard to the things that they desire, it does not automatically translates to the lack of desire, nevertheless, it will and always will be part of life. For example, the owner of KFC or kentucky fried chicken failed a thousand times before his recipe was accepted by a certain restaurant. This example is a proof that successful people never gave up in reaching all their dreams.
In conclusion, failure is inevitable and will always be part of people's success. It does not mean that the desire was not strong enough. All things human desires comes at the right time and in right place. Accepting failure makes people stronger, and they should open their hearts and minds about the reality of success for them to be grateful. People need to be thankful for the failures because if not due to that, they would not be who they are today.
