Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Writing task 1

The bar graph compares the population of Japan over the course of 105 years and the table is presenting the information about Japan's citizen over the age of 65. Overall there has been a rise in the poplution from 1950 to 2055. All of which, the majority of Japan citizen is being 65 years or over has seen a dramatic increase.

Firstly, throughout the year in the bar graph from 1950 to 2005 the poplution has been steadily increasing and peaking at 127.8 millions. When suddenly, in the year 2010 it begins to dropped and by the year 2055, it is estimated that the population will further decrease to be only 89.9 millions.

Further more, the population of people's age 65 or above will increase significantly. Intially, being at 4.1 millions to 36.5 millions by the year 2055. It is predicted that by 2035 people of the age 65 and over will be peaking at 37.2 millions, which is accounted for 34% of the total population.

Write about the following topic.

Psychologists have known for many years that colour can affect how people feel. For this reason, attention should be given to colour schemes when decorating places such as offices and hospitals.

How true is this statement?

How far does colour influence people’s health and capacity for work?

Writing task 2

Many in the scientific fields believe that color can affect human emotions. This essay believes it is true that color does affect one's mood. Color can affect the mind, making you more productives or even experiences less stress as well.

Color can be seen in every aspect of our lives. If color does not work then why is it every where? Because, it is true that color can change how we feel and dictate our actions. This is due to what feeling we associate with the color or what our environment shape what the color symbolizes. For instance, we often associate brighter color with happy and fond memories, while darker color is seen as grim and unfortunate, it is often but not always, paired with traumatic event in life.

Further more, color can have an enormous effects on the mind. Our mental state will be reflected by our physical state. While, color with a hot tone is often use in commercials to advertise their product, because it symbolizes and promotes implusive behaviours. Color such as, blue is often use in places like hospitals and many work places to promote calmness. Thus, making a patient in the hospital feels more at ease. In addition, it helps employees to be more relax and more productive, because stress is not interfering with their work.

In conclusion, Color does affect our emotion, it is in every aspect of our lives. Not to mention it can influence how we feel or behave a certain way as well.
