Writing task 1

The given diagram illustrates how chocolates are made.

As an overall view, the procedures takes 10 steps to complete, from the raw material which is the cacao fruit from the cacao tree, up to the final product, the liquid chocolate.

Initially, cacao fruit are grown from South America, Africa, and Indonesia. Farmers harvested only the red fruit, indication that it is ripe. Next, the pods are opened individually and the white cocoa beans are taken. The third and fourth steps are, white beans being fermented, followed by manually drying under the heat of the sun. Fifth, fully dried cacao seeds are put into large sacks, and then transported by trains or lorry to be delivered to factories. In the factory, cacao beans are roasted again using factory machine up to 350 degree Celsius, different from the initial drying which used the heat of sun. Second to the last stage, the roasted beans are crushed using large equipment to remove the outer shell. Writing task 2

Many people believe that sport champions before only desired to win the match or just want to break world records, while others think that most of the champions nowadays are doing it for the sake of popularity as well as the reward money. In this essay, I believe that money reward and popularity are just secondary motivations of these champions and not the primary reasons for them to get involved to what they love and passionate about.

On the one hand, sports people before try their bests to achieve sport championship mainly because they want to prove themselves that they can do it, and because they love what they are doing. Although, the rewards before are not same as today. For instance, Muhammad Ali, a famous boxer in the past, who gained popularity in his sports, eventhough the prizes are not as much as today. He said that he is not after all that since he loved boxing so much that he was able to achieve all that.

On the other hand, sports people nowadays automatically get famous and win large amount of prizes because a lot of sponsorship have been involved. These are the chances of companies to endorse their products using the popularity of champions. People involved in sports involved themselves in sports because they wanted to do so and they are passionate about it. Prizes and popularity are just secondary to what they have achieved. For example, Manny Pacquiao, a famous filipino boxer, he was interviewed that he was not after all the prices but he is doing the sport mainly because he loves what he is doing.

In conclusion, winning big prices and popularity are not the main reasons why champions involved themselves through sports. They are highly motivated by the fact that they love the sport and are passionate about it. The same is true if these champions break records, and of course, it is part of sports that they will absolutely try to win all competitions that they involved themselves to. All prices are just secondary motivations and never the sole reasons for them to do sports.
