The pie charts below show the percentage of time working adults spent on different activities in a particular country in 1958 and 2008. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant

Writing Task 1

The pie charts shows the percentage of time working adults spent on different activities in a particular country in 1958 and 2008. In general, the main features of time by working adults in 2008 are more than 1958.

To start, the percentage of working was rose significantly from 33% in 1958 to 42% in 2008 and similarly same with time to relax at home with each increased by 5% make it 13% in 2008. In addition, the percentage of time spending on sleeping had a declined from 32% in 1958 to 25% in 2008. Otherwise, there was a slight increased in the percentage of time to other interests or playing sports by 2% to 8% in 2008. The percentage of going out dropped from 19% in 1958 to 6% in 2008 and there was a rose in the percentage of time to travel to work by 6% make it 8% in 2008.

In conclusion, there was a significant differences in the percentage of time working adults spent on different activities in the both years.

Nowadays, not enough students choose science subjects in university in many countries. What are the reasons for this problem? What are the effects on society?

You should write at least 250 words.

Do you know that many students nowadays do not choose science subject in university? This is due to the science subject are so difficult to learn because it have a lot of things to learn in the subject such as physic, chemistry and mathematic. So, it make a students become more uninterested with this subject which is giving the negative effects on society. There are some negative effect of not enough students choose science subjects in university which are the detorioration in healthcare and well-being and less of intelligence person.

First negative effect of not enough students choose science subjects in university is detorioration in healthcare and well-being. The science subject make a students learn a lot of things such as in medical they will learn about medicine which is very important to help the society to prevent an ailment. So, if less of student learn about science subject will lead to the small amount of people can doing this job which will make the goverment dont have enough employees to take in the medical center. When this happen, the society can not find a solution for treat thier disease which will lead to a disaster such as the spread of influenza and COVID-19 can not be solve due to this problems.

Next, the other negative effect is less of intelligence person particularly in science subjects. This will effect in the development of that country which is really important to help the society. Science subjects are related to some engineer field. For example, when the engineer want to create a concrete, they must put some material such as sand and cement to mix which require science thinking skills. If there are not enough an intelligent person in this field will make the country become undevelopment that will drop the image of the country and in the same time will be a very negative impact for the society because they do not have a place to job due to building which are not develop more than what expected.

In conclusion, less of intelligence person and detorioration in health care and well- being are a negative effects of not enough students choose science subjects on society. The government and society must encourage students in choosing science subjects so the enviroment and the development of the country become more efficient.
