Nowadays, not enough students choose science subjects in university in many countries. What are the reasons for this problem? What are the effects on society?
You should write at least 250 words.
It is a well-known fact, that today's people, graduated from school, frequently prefer not to choose biology, chemistry and physics subjects as their major. According to this, there has been a question of what impact such moda can make on our society. In this essay, I am going to assess the importance of this problem and recognise the factors of which it came from.
Firstly, the fact that needs to be pointed out is that subjects of science sphere are not spread in poor countries, such as most of the African countries. Such perspective is caused by the absense of good education system in most of them, and that respectively denies the ability for most of civils to become a high-quallified specialist. However, not all the poor countries do not provide science education, for example Egypt, which, as far as I know, has the best education system on its continent.
In addition, science-orientiated subjects have been terrifying students since the Medievial period of history by their severeness. As the main fear of pupils might have always been bad marks and the inabbility to develop themselve, they often afraid to choose hard specialities. Moreover, not all of them have enough skills to make good results in such subjects.
To sum up, the main causes of not taking up the science subjects are the lack of good pre-learn curriculum and the basical frighteness of having bad marks. At the end, it can cause the issue of slowly development of humankind, caused by lack of well-educated people.
