Write about the following topic.

In some countries, online shopping is replacing shopping in stores. Do you think it is a positive or negative development?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

You should write at least 250 words.

Shopping is an activity where everyone buys products of their own interest which is further divided into various categories such as clothes, toys, furniture, electronics, etc. It's a physical activity that is done in a mall or a specific store where people buy products, mostly on special occasions especially on weekends, because people are free as it varies from person to person based on their income and own purposes.

The last decade has been full of technological breakthroughs such as smartphones, Tablet, earphones, and air conditioners, which have led to many benefits for the world Online shopping is one of them, it has attracted most of the people in the world as it's easy to buy online rather than going to store and getting it, moreover, people got addicted to online shopping as various apps have been created with many features being added in it to make the people buy the products such as, the filter feature which filters the different categories of products into the people's own interest for their companies availability in selected range of money. However, this had a huge impact on many countries such as India, China, and America, where shopping apps like Amazon, Flipkart, and Walmart kept many offers on various products according to the specific partnered companies. for example, in India, people generally go shopping only on some special occasions, but online shopping has created an impact on them by keeping fast delivery, and offers, especially on the festivals as it reduces their work, where the product is being bought by just clicking a button with having various payment methods such as cash, debit or credit cards, UPI and the company sends their package delivered at their door within few days, with tracking of their package being provided to the customer for his satisfaction.

In conclusion, I can say that this is a positive development but not negative as it increases the customer's interest in buying their product, but totally does not make them not to shopping on weekends physically, although there are discounts kept on online apps, still some people would like to shopping to the mall as it provides physical evidence that people can still buy products
