The chart above illustrates salaries, in Pound Sterling, of law enforcements, nurses, firefighters and undergroun drivers in the United Kingdom, while the table below provides the per-week averages of working hours of each profession.
Overall, more dangerous professions usually paid double safer professions compensated, despite the lower workload, and the pay only increased slightly after three years for all professions.
The salary range for police units matched those of nurses being somewhat around the 20-thousand-pounds-range, with police officers only 3 thousands pounds higher than nurses who roughly work the same amount of hours per week, being only 2 hours less than their law enforcing counterparts on average.
As for the dangerous fields of figher fighting and underground driving, the pay is handsome at 50 thousand pounds for an average of 36 work-hours per week, which is the lowest of all the four professions, compared to only 40 thousand pounds, despite approximately 55 hours of life-threatening work per week, being the most overworked of all these jobs.
Task 2

Write about the following topic.
Some people believe that children should study all subjects at school, while others think they should only study subjects they are good at or find interesting. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
You should write at least 250 words.
Although it's widely believed that our future generations should have a well-rounded knowledge of how the world works, some hold the view that children should only focus on what they excel at, which is very short-sighted, in my opionion, and cannot be done without knowing the big picture first.
Without a doubt, many of our most successful stars and entrepreneurs have strong and unique talents. In their case, they attribute their renowned careers to how they nurtured such talents early in their childhood, which was largely permitted by a flexible lifestyle, allowing them to always have something interesting on the side. However, many of them neglect the significance of all the intellectual aspects of their development, and skip over to what they like most about themselves .
To serve our consistently advancing society, which is becoming rapidly automated, specializing in one field or profession has been the go-to persuit for many. For instance, for graduates to find a decent job, one which isn't taken over by robots yet, their knowledge have to be wide and connected to all parts of life. However, to obtain such knowledge, they have to go through all the subjects and topics at school to find what interests them enough to carry on with their studies. On the contrary, if they don't try out multiple ideas first, it would be hard for them to stick with a career-path successfully.
To conclude, while individuals are required to grow into specialists, who would best be interested in their fields, allowing them to explore their abilities with different school subjects early on would guide them, in my opinion, to making a suitable long-term choice, hence achieving their best potential.
