Some experts believe that when a country is already rich, any additional increase in economic wealth does not make its citizens any more satisfied. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

You should write at least 250 words.

The economy is a complicated and debatable topic. Some experienced analysts state that any economic growth in an already rich country does not make its citizen any happier. This essay will explain why I disagree with the statement and explain why an additional increase in economic wealth could potentially bring happiness to a wider range of people.

In a developed country, the slight increase in economics is received only a little to no satisfaction from its wealthy citizens since most basic infrastructures and public spaces already exist and no significant upgrade from the economic growth. According to some experts, 75% of younger generations from wealthy families in the rich country don't really care about economics with 10% do not pay any attention to it at all. Therefore, the economic increase of a wealthy country doesn't similarly translate to a satisfactory increase in its citizens.

However, although wealthy citizens have minimal satisfaction from an economic increase, other middle and lower-class citizens would be pleased with more employment and several job opportunities from the economic boom. Since the increase in the economy means more people would be needed to be employed to fill in the growing economic demands. Moreover, even in rich countries, poverty still exists, with more growing businesses, more people would be brought out of poverty from various job opportunities to serve the expanding economy. The more economic increase, the happier the wider range of society would be, even in a rich and wealthy nation.

In conclusion, the relationship between economic growth and the happiness of wealthy citizens is always going to be debated. However, one thing is clear, more people could receive better and happier life from employment in an expanding economy.
