The bar chart below shows the total number of minutes (in billions) of telephone calls in Australia, divided into three categories, from 2001- 2008. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
You should write at least 150 words.

The chart which demonstrates the total number of minutes of phone calls in Australia between 2001 and 2008 separated the data into local, national and international and mobiles. In 2001, the local telephone calls, which got 72 billion minutes, was the highest number of minutes. While mobile got the least as it only got 2 billion minutes. In 2005, local phone calls has reached 90 billions minutes and remained in the first place among other two categories. Although mobile was still got a lowest minutes of calls, it increased rapidly to the amount of 12 billion minutes. In addition, the total number of minutes of mobiles phone call quintupled from 12 billion minutes in 2005 to 46 billion minutes in 2008. Meanwhile, minutes of local phone calls was dropped slightly from 90 billion in 2005 to 72 billion in 2008, yet it got the largest number of minutes in telephone calls.Besides, the total number minutes of telephone calls in Australia has been increased. The number of minutes of National and International phone calls was kept adding from 38 billion in 2001 to 61 billion in 2008. Moreover, mobiles has got a dramatic increasing number in the total number of phone calls. However, both adds and drops existed in the total number of phone calls in the category of local. It still got the largest number of minutes of telephone calls in Australia while other two categories are kept going up. The bar chart presents the total number of minutes of telephone calls in Australia in three categories. Local calls got the first place while Mobiles got the third place.

Some people think the money spent in developing the technology for space exploration is not justified. There are more beneficial ways to spend this money. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

Universe is a mystery. Spending money on space exploration benefits the development of science and technology; however, it gives small advantages to human's life. It does not take a crucial role in the life of human. Presenting the strength of a country to the world only, the government tend to put a huge amount of money in the space. Many powerful countries such as China and United States, they are giving large amount of resources to their technology department to invest rocket to the space, to explore the Mars while they got many problem in different aspects in the society, for examples, political and economic problems. If the government would like to have a better image among the international cities, they should first fulfill the basic needs of their citizens. The government could use the money to create more job opportunities, design a better urban and rural planning and promote mental health and physical health . All the above suggestions can ensure citizens's quality of life increased with fulfilling a variety aspects in the life. Absolutely,there are still a lots of things could be done by the government, yet not only spending on the space, in the place that no human live there.Not only showing the power of a country, but more importantly exploring space would not bring actual positive impacts to human's life. Without exploring the universe, global citizens would not have any loss in their daily life as nothing is affected in their daily life. In addition, the general public may concern about the "aliens" from the universe will attack them when space exploration is in progress. There has been some news reported some people are scared by the "aliens" in USA and others places, yet "aliens" is still an unknown object. Moreover, the public only have a limited knowledge about the universe, thus observing the space does not take an essential role in the society and people's daily life. Consequently, discovering the mysterious space does not bring an enormous or an important pros to human life. To conclude, the money spent in developing the technology for space exploration is justified; however it should not take many money from the government as there are still lots of aspects which need large amount of money to help to improve the conditions.
