The Pie chart gives information about the country of birth of people living in Australia and the table shows where people born in these countries live.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
You should write at least 150 words.

The pie provides information about the percentage of where people living in Australia originate from, while the table illustrates wether they are living in the city or the countryside.
Overall, it can be seen that the vast majority of people living in Australia are born in the same country, moreover most of them prefer cities compared to rural areas, in particular the Chinese.
To begin, it can be seen that nearly three quarters (73%) of the people living in Australia were born there, whereas the rest of them come from either the UK, New zealand or China with 7%, 3% and 2% respectively or from other countries.
In addition, these people tend to gather in cities than in rural areas, especially the Chinese with 99% in cities compared to 1% in rural areas, followed by the UK and the Netherlands with about a tenth living in rural areas, in contrast to those born in Australia or New zealand with similar proportions of about a fifth choosing to settle in the countryside.
Task 2
You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.
People are having more and more sugar-based drinks. What are the reasons? What are the solutions to make people drink less.
You should write at least 250 words.
Sugar-based drinks have seen a rise in their consumption, this essay will first suggest that the biggest causes for this phenomenon are the availability of these beverages and the lack of awareness, then argue that imposing taxes on these products and raising awareness to their dangers are the most viable solutions.
Industrialisation and globalisation have made it easier for such products to cross oceans and continents then finally settle on shelves in nearby shops, hence they are at disposal and everyone can buy them from a child to their grandparents, moreover people have been used to these drinks and so they tend to buy them without considering the consequences, for instance Pepsi and Cocacola are the most loved sugary drinks that can be found approximately all around the globe and are consumed by the whole family.
It is the responsibility of everyone to make an end to this phenomenon, mainly the government which plays the biggest role along with parents by the enactment of taxes on these beverages either on importers or the consumers which would vastly reduce their purchases, furthermore organising awareness campaigns especially in schools helps to introduce people to the risks of these drinks and the dangerous diseases they can cause due to regular consumption, a perfect example is Norway where people started to avoid such drinks in response to the high taxes on them.
In conclusion, the increase of sugary drinks consumption is the result of people's ignorance of their dangers alongside their availability in shops, and the best way to cut down their intake is by explaining their dangers and putting a tax on them which leads to higher prices.
