This bar chart shows the proportion of houses built every year in two cities, which is Derby and Nottingham, from the year 2000 to 2009. It is clear from the bar chart that Derby is the highest in most years.
According to what is shown, in the year 2000, Nottingham was in the top, it reached 50. After 3 years, there was a decreasing in Nottingham, in the same time Derby rised to 120. However, it countined like this until the year 2007, when the city Nottingham increased to 190, and that was highest number that ever happened. After just 1 year, a big chamge heppend, it was a surprise, Nerby reached to 270 and Nottingham went down to 10 houses per year. Additionally, in the year 2009 Derby reached almost to 350, and Nottingam appeared and went up to 250. That was reasonable changing for Nerby, but it was unpredictable for Nottingham.
To sum up, we could say that from the year 2000 to 2007 the numbers were acceptable, but after 2 years, it went more than 250 to both cities.
Task 2

People think that the best way to reduce crime is to give longer prison sentences. Others believe that there are other alternative solutions for reducing crime.
Discuss both views and give your opinion on this topic.
You should write at least 250 words.
These days if a person did a crime, he/she will go to prison for a long period. Is there other solutions for this issue? Or is it the only way to keep the country safe from the dangerous people. So, in this essay I will discuss both sides, and I will draw my personal conclusion.
On one hand, government believe that there are no other path for the violators, the prison time will be the best option for them, to let them rethink about their mistakes in life, and in the future they will be nice people, but that will happen gradually. However, if their is a person who killed several people, is the society will accept him in the community, near by their children and schools? Of course no, even if there was a 24/7 watch on them, or writing a report daily about their behavoir, it does not make sense, the governemnt should lock them up in a specific places for guilty people.
On the other hand, people see that there are other keys to solve this problem, and the long sentences should change. To be clear, the government should give the prisenors a chance to help the environment, and to be benefits for the society. Moreover, creating a fascinating places for them to get better, to help themselves to improve, that is very good soulotion. In addition, the government should impose an extreme punishment for the people who across the line, that will decrease the proportion of prisenors in all the nation.
In conclusion, I think there is no alternative for the long sentences, especially in the dangerous causes, such as killing, stealing, kidanpping. These people should understand their actions, and to regret into the prison.
