The given diagram demonstrates the internal structure and working of a neuron. Overall, a neuron consists of several components each of which perform certain specific functions. Right at the center of a neuron, there is a cell body known as soma. There are dendrites on its outer surface which receive messages and signals from other cells. These dendrites are connected to each other for rendering dissemination of messages. There is a certain section which connects upper and lower parts of a neuron called an axon which is primarily responsible for transferring messages away from the cell body to other neurons, muscles and glands. The electrical signal received from dendrites passes through the axon which itself is covered with an outer protective covering called Myelin sheath which facilitates rapid transmission of neural impulses. Finally once it passes through the axon, it reaches the terminal buttons which create junctions with other cells. This is the main mechanism of operation of neurons present in a human brain.

Therefore, it is a need of the hour for the entire public to enforce upon good health and balanced lifestyle of older people. One possible solution for this matter is that children and teenagers can perform a great role by devoting some of their time to their grandparents with an ethical approach and courteous manner and by abiding to their requests.
