The graph demonstrates the portion of houses which built in Derby and Notthingham from 2000 to 2009, in a 10-year period.

Gerenal speaking, the number of homes built in Derby were inched upward from 40 to nearly 350 between 2000 to 2009, while in Nottingham, the number of houses built were fluctuated in the same time frame.

Between 2003 to 2007, there were no changed in the amount of 125 homes which built in Derby. On the contrary, the number of houses built in Nottingham in 2003 was two times less than the amount of Derby. Also, the number of houses built in Nottingham reached the lowest point in 2006, it was only less than 10% of homes have been built, while the portion of houses were 120 in Derby in the same year.

Overall, there was a significant comparison in the number of houses built in 2008 in two cities, Notthingham only got 10% of new houses but Derby built 335 houses instead.

People have different point of view by discussing the issue of cime. While some people think a way to reduce crime is to have longer prison sentences for the prisoner, several people may argue that there should be other solutions to reduce crime instead. I, therefore, definitely disagree that giver longer prison sentences, in my opinion I suggest other alternative solutions to reduce crime.

First and foremost, the problem of crime is a social issue that have been discuss for a long period of time. In terms of reduce crime, some people think that government should set a law to give prisoners to stay longer in prison, however, this is not a best way to reduce crime, it just slow down the time to prevent prisoners to back into normal life.

On the contrary, I am convined that government should spend more time in education citizen, as well as teenagers or children. Especially teenagers, they might have many ways to learn something negative, for instance, knowing different people from the Internet may disadvantage of themselves, causing crime issue. Through education them, they may understand the influence of crime and avoid it. Not only eduaction helps in reducing crime in our society, but also legislation of the country can reduce crime accidents. Introduce laws and strengthen supervision can effective control the lawbreakers, therefore, reducing the problem of crime.

In summaries, I believe the most important way to avoid crime in our society is to legislation and education citizen, instead of giving longer prison sentences for prisoners.
