Some people think the money spent in developing the technology for space exploration is not justified. There are more beneficial ways to spend this money. To what extend do you agree or disagree?
You should write at least 250 words.
Many people believe that there is no added value behind the government's expenditure on enhancing the technology to discover outer space. Personally, I agree that exploring the space is beneficial , from different aspects, to the society and to the country, as I will explain in this essay.
Firstly, perhaps one of the most significant outcomes from space exploration is developing the current means of communication of the country, this development could be made by sending advanced satellites to outer space. Consequently, Lots of data and information could be transferred in a few seconds, between people and between countries.
Secondly, this investment allocated for space discovery will ,perhaps, lead us to discover new sources of energy that could replace the current ones which are at risk to run out one day in the near future, such as fossil fuel and gas.
Finally, the investments on such technology might help in protecting the environment, for instance, through tracking the development and progress in climate change, all over the world, from space. In addition to that, it can save many people's life, through predicting any possible natural disaster ,such as, a hurricane or an earthquake, that might occur in the near future, through using advanced detection devices ,which are attached to the satellites that are orbiting around the earth.
In conclusion, I believe that the government has an essential role, in communicating to society, the benefits behind the investment on developing the technology for space exploration, now and for the future generations.
