The first chart below shows the percentages of women and men in a country involved in some kinds of home tasks (cooking, cleaning, pet caring and repairing the house. The second chart shows the amount of time each gender spent on each task per day.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
You should write at least 150 words.

The charts illustrate the number of males and females who do different housework as well as the amount of time they spend doing the same. It is evident from both charts that cooking and cleaning are the most time consuming chores for both men and women.
Firstly, it can be observed that that the number of women who cook and clean is significantly higher than the number of men with almost a 20% difference in each. However, more men participate in pet care and house repairs compared to number of women. Although the difference is marginal in case of pet care, the percentage of men who work on house repairs is almost double than than of the number of women.
A similar pattern can be observed in the case of time spent on these household chores. While women spent an average of 85 minutes cooking and 70 minutes cleaning, men spent around an hour and 45 minutes respectively. In contrast, both genders spent the same amount of time (20 minutes) on pet care. Finally, while men worked on house repairs for around 20 minutes, women spent one fifth of this time on it.
Task 2
You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.
Some people think that governments should ban dangerous sports, while others think people should have freedom to do any sports or activity. Discuss both views and give your own opinion
You should write at least 250 words.
Many people believe that certain sports, which have a high chance of injury- or even in some rare cases, death- should be banned, while others believe in having the freedom of participating in any sport or activity they want. Overall, both these opinions are backed by reasons and examples, some of which are explained below.
It is true that we have many activities and sports- such as rock climbing, or paragliding- which are potentially dangerous. The saftey in these adventure sports depends heavily on the equipment. Even though these equipments undergo multiple rigorous checks, we can never be 100% sure on their reliability. Even a tiny mishap can result in serious injuries or even death in some extreme cases. Apart from this, there can always be a possibility for human error which cannot be accounted for beforehand. These potential risks makes many people believe that these sports should be banned overall. According to them, the thrill is not worth risking their lives over.
On the other hand, many people disagree as it is exactly this thrill that they look for when they go for such sports. Similar is the case when we go for rides in an amusement park. The speeds and the heights give us a sense of enjoyment. Similarly, it is the risk factor that they find amusing. The fact that they can lose their lives or get seriously injured helps them put into perspective the value of life. Ironically, they feel alive when they risk their lives.
To summarize, both these opinions have valid reasons to back them up. While some people say we should protect our lives, other believe in jepordizing it in order to feel alive. Personally, I believe that people should have the freedom to go for any sports or activities they like. People know how dangerous these events can be and they do take necessary precautions before they jump into it. Every person is different, and every person has different tastes. It would be unfair to put a ban on adventure sports just for the sake of being safe.
