Throughout history, homosexual relationship has been frowned upon. Till this day and age gay marriage remaines to be a controversial topic. Few people claims that allowing this act will have a negative impact for the country whereas the rest argues that it is completely natural and that it is the humans right to choose who to be with and whom to get married to. In my opinion, Gay marraige should be legalised as it is the peoples freedom to love whoever they wish.
To begin with, being attracted to the same gender is not a choice nor is it unnatural to do so. For instances, There is a clear evidence that animals mate with not only the opposite sex but also their own gender during breeding season hense why arguing that it goes against the flow of nature would be pointless. So why should the society band this if it is practised even in nature?
Furthermore, It is the indiviuals right to be happy with whom they love. Due to cultural influence opposing this relationship many males and females end up getting married to a stranger who they arent sexually attracted to and as a concequence they lead an unhappy married life. Therefore, removing the restriction on gay marriage will not only give them oppertunity to pursue the ones they want but also lead a happier life.
In conclusion, I believe that governments worldwide should allow gay weddings to take place as the citizens happiness should be their atmost priority.
