[Robert D] Writing Practice Test 95065

Task 1

You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.

The flow chart illustrates the consequence of deforestation. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features.

You should write at least 150 words.

Writing Task 1

As you can see the flow chart above demonstrates 4 negative trivial results of the cutting of forests, which can have more harmful following effects in the latter part of the process.

In a brief look, it is clear to see that cutting of forests has mainly different dangerous scenarios that can damage to nature, while some consequences can have more stages to exist, others' effects join in another consequence.

Cutting forests can cause variations of harms and one of them is less precipitation and therefore having an increased drought, which ultimately leads to less biodiversity. On the other hand, this can cause top soils to erode, and again it can cause less biodiversity just like the other consequence of having an increased risk of burning even if it is accidental or intentional.

Despite the fact that the three consequence causes a much bigger problem, the compression of heavy logging equipment in the soil can eventually lack the ability to absorb water, and make the soil more open to floods.

Task 2

You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.

In many workplaces, online communication is getting more common than meeting face to face. Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?

You should write at least 250 words.

There is no doubt that communication is one of the important skills in our lives. While some people believe that meeting face to face is more intimate, I support the view that online communication is more convenient and preferable.

It is clear to see that, communication based-on the internet is getting more developed by each day. This is because technological improvements are helping this type of communication to be more interactive, more trustworthy, and more available. For instance, online communication got through the process of only hearing voices to see every mimic we have on the face times. If it had been only sending texts, it would have been less common in our daily lives because of the lack of visuals.

On the other hand, this type of communication provides a wide range of mobility, which helps people to connect at any time and anywhere. The reason behind this is that online communication, which is predominantly done by applications, is accessible via a lot of different devices such as a computer, mobile phone, and other electronic tools. For instance, people who use electronic devices are able to communicate with their families, friends, and colleagues just in seconds. If people choose to speak someone who lives on another continent without the internet, it will take days to reach out to that person to speak face to face. Thus communication will become a huge problem in many distinct areas in daily life.

As a result, although people tend to choose face to face speaking due to its reliability, online communication can and will outweigh these advantages and eventually will become more common in our society.
