The flow chart illustrates the consequence of deforestation. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features.
You should write at least 150 words.

The flow chart describes the outcome of cutting down the forests and main four steps by which it causes damage.
Overall, it can be clearly seen from the flow chart that deforestation has main four ways that causes a long term threat on environment including humans and other living things.
To begin with, cutting down trees needs enormous logging machinery that compress the soil beneath it due to its weight which in turn causes the soil to become hard and baked. When it rains, the water doesn't absorbs in soil and just runs off that causes flooding. Secondly, small amount of plant roots holds the top soil and so top soil is easily eroded.
Furthermore, Forest fires have been increasing accidentally or deliberately that leads to destruction of log woods. The micro-organisms start feeding this waste and biodiversity is reduced as vegetation is degraded. Lastly, plants reflects less moisture that leads to reduction in precipitation and increased drought.

In many workplaces, online communication is getting more common than meeting face to face. Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?
You should write at least 250 words.
In this global village where all the people have access to internet, communications are more dependent on technology rather than face to face. I believe, the positive effects of this is more as compared to its negative sides.
To begin with, with the help of technology and in the times when the country is weathering with pandemic, people are working from home and getting connected to each other regardless of their location through high speed network of internet and it is dissolving the boundaries of converstations. Moreover, it saves time as to avoid unwanted chatting for just a small issue, just typing a detailed e-mail can be helpful. For instance, many companies like Ajanta Pharma has developed a software where employees can talk to each other through messaging on their computers so that they don't have to visit them personally and can save time.
On the flip side, the disadvantages should not be neglected. In the world of high tech gadgets, face to face communication is also important to develop healthy employee work relations. Online communications has lost the touch of personal involvement and feelings leading to effect mental health. For example, a survey by mental health association in 2019 said that those people working from home has more stress and mental health issues as compared to those who are having good peer relationship with their employees.
To recapitulate, even though the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, to have job satisfaction and maintain work- life balance, employee needs to have both online as well as direct conversation.
