The figure illustrates the system of a wave-energy machinery, and possible locations for its placement.
Overall, the machine generates electricity by using the air flows created by the waves including the amount of energy output and cost vary according to its placement.
The compartments of the machine, allows the waves to enter and create an air flow that reaches the turbine which is connected to the generator. These flows move upwards when waves come and downwards when the water level decreases. Changing direction allows the turbine of the machine to spin and resulting in the generation of electricity.
Wave-energy machines can be located in shallow areas or in deeper parts. The difference is, if it is closer to land, waves are smaller and the amount produced is lower with a considerably low cost of installation. However, if it is installed in deeper areas where cost of installation is higher and bigger waves are encountered, it results in a higher outcome.

Buying things on the Internet, such as books, air tickets and groceries, is becoming more and more popular.

You should write at least 250 words.

Everyday, there are more people starting to purchase stuff online, although some still prefer going to the stores. This essay will discuss why in fact positive aspects of online shopping do outweigh the negative ones.
Shopping on the internet can significantly reduce time spent on this activity. In conventional stores, everything has a limited stock due to narrow storage spaces. It is very likely that on a day of sale, a person goes to a shop and comes back home with empty hands while online shopping has no such problems. Instead of driving in town to find a product you need, you can click on one or two buttons and buy it in minutes with the advantage of delivery to your house, workplace or anywhere requested directly from storage depot. Less time requirement is one of the great advantages of online purchases against store shopping.
Another positive aspect is the chance of a discount. Shops require employees for register, cleaning and organisation, whereas online stores do not. Since the costs of stores are higher due to employment and rental fees, companies are trying to direct customers into online shopping by offering discounts or special gifts per every purchase. Customers can find the same products for more reasonable prices online than in a mall.
To conclude, online shopping displays cheaper prices with just a click in the comfort of a chair instead of having to go out, thus it can be said that it is superior to old-fashioned way of going to a mall.
