The diagram illustrates the current ground floor plan of a house and a proposed plan for a renovation of it.

Overall, it is clear that the plan is to extend the living room and make the stairs accessible from inside the room. A set of kitchen furniture will be installed on the left side of the kitchen; while the entrance doors will be the same.

Currently, the existing ground floor plan consists of four main areas, including kitchen, hall, stairs and living room. On the left, there is a kitchen with its own entrance door on its northern side, with an internal door to the hall. The hall and the kitchen is seperated with an internal wall. The stairs is placed in the hall area where there is a storage place underneath it. There is a main entrance door to the hall where on the right side, there is an internal door to the living room.

On the renovation proposal, there will be a kitchen furniture installation on the left side of it; while the internal door will be doubled and moved to the southern side of the kitchen. These doors will seperate the kitchen with the living room. There will be no hall as the proposed changes will make the living room bigger and the stairs will also be inside it. There will also be no storage under the stairs.

Education is important for all children. While many people believe that the best learning place for an optimal child's development is at home, others said that it is necessary for children to go to a formal institution such as school. This essay will discuss about why both learning ways has its own advantages for children.

Home will always be the first place to learn anything. Usually, parents will teach their kids alphabets, numbers, and many other day-to day activities. This learning approach will not only good for children, but also for the parents. Parents will try to develop more stable emotions when they teach their kids. They can also monitor the children's growth in real time. In addition, the emotional connection between parents and their children will be even stronger.

Sadly, not all parents have the privilege to stay home and teach their kids. Some of them should work from nine to five everyday to feed their family. In this case, it is better to register children into a formal learning instution such as school to provide children with better learning activities. When children go to school, parents will also be able to get many feedbacks from the teacher's perspectives about their children's development overtime. Parents can also know the children weaknesses and step up the learning experience at home on the weekends.

To sum up, the most important thing is to fulfil children's development and learning experience, whether it is from home or school. In my opinion, both methods has its own advantages, but the most important thing is to find the most suitable approach for the kids and parents.
