The following bar charts give information about the worldwide sales of different digital games in a period of 6 years.

It can be seen that during that period the sales of mobile phone games, online games and handheld games increased gradually while the sales of console games decreased.

The sales of handheld games increased from little below 12 billion dollars in 2000 up to almost 18 billion dollars in 2006, while the sales of console games decreased adjacently from almost 6 billion dollars in 2000 down to around 3 billion dollars in 2006.

Mobile phone games and online games had 0 sales in 2000. The global sales of online games began in 2001 with sales below 1 billion dollars and it had a significant increase till it reached around 9 billion dollars in 2006. While the sales of mobile phone games began in 2002 with around 1 billion dollars and it had an ongoing increase till it reached little above 6 billion dollars in 2006.

Bullying is nowadays a major concern for many parents as alot of schools are now finding it hard to diminish it. I think bullying has numerous root causes and it can be contained with the right approach.

I think one of the main reasons for bullying is a lack of self esteem for the bully. For example, when the bully feels like other people are smarter than him, he or she tends to try and compensate that with belittling other people because it gives them a feeling of power and at the same time makes the victim look vulnerable and gives the bully a sense of dominance. Furthermore, the fact that some schools don't give full attention to vulnerable and weak students makes room for the bullies to continue with their behaviour as they are aware they won't face punishment for it. However, i think the main cause for bullies to develop such habit at young age is bad upbringing, when kids suffer from parental violence at such young age they tend to reflect that violence on other kids.

I think there are many solutions that we should adopt in order to overcome that problem. Firstly, parents should raise their children in a healthy way and try to avoid having arguments in front of their children. Secondly, parents and schools should work on improving the self esteem of children through healthy communication. Thirdly, schools should strictly punish bullies and have strict laws to protect vulnerable students. Last but not least, schools should teach vulnerable students to stand up for their rights in every possible appropriate way.

In conclusion, bullying is a huge problem in the modern society but we can overcome it with the appropriate solutions.
