The chart demonstrates British Emigration to countries all over the world between the years 2004 and 2007.
At the first glance, it is observed that Australia is the most popular destination among Spain, New Zealand, USA and Frace, reaching its peak of over fifty thousand immigrants from the British people. Though it is far away, the native language of the country could be favoured by the Btirish. The country has received approximately 190 thousand immigrants only in three years.
This grand total is followed by another popular emigration destination, Spain. Spain is the second most preferred country British people chose to immigrate to between the years 2004 and 2007.
Finally, New Zealand, USA and France show similarities in the numbers of British immigrants in this three years. France, however, has received a significant number of immigrants in the year 2005, putting it among the most preferred countries in that year along with Spain and Australia.

The effect of exposure to a language, indoubtibly, has a significant effect on language learning process. Exposure not only makes language learning more enjoyable, it also contributes to the sense of natural learning.
As a non-native speaker of English, however, I believe that people don't necessarily need to live in an English speaking country to learn English. As a matter of fact, it isp possible to achieve a certain proficiency in English and teach it to others without spending any time in an English-speaking country. Two main arguments can be listed to support this idea.
The first argument is the quality of language education. English, as other languages, is a total of rules and vocabularies that combined with them, making it a teachable entity afterall. This proves that learning a language is only as impossible as learning how to read and write. Moreover, people who are in search for a native-like proficiency can attain their goal, as well. They only need to study and practice more. There are many prestigious institutes that offer English teaching programs without taking people to live English-speaking countries.
The second evidence showing the redundancy of studying in an English-speaking country to learn english is the availability of authentic materials. Thanks to the Internet, one can reach any original audio or written English material to learn from them. The native English accent familiarity is, for example, is easily reachable.
Therefore, I do not support the idea of living or studying in an English-speaking country to learn the language at all.
