Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
You should write at least 150 words.

The two diagrams demonstrate the existing and proposed floor plans of a building work. This essay will discuss these two floor plans and will provide a comparative analysis at the end of the discussion.
The current floor plan involves a kitchen, a living room, a hall and stairs. There are two entrances, one through the kitchen and the other is through the hall. There are doors in the hall to go to either kitchen or living room. There is a storage under the stairs of this plan.
However, some changes are proposed in the second design. The hall room is removed completely to accommodate more space in the living room. The stairs are beside the living room with no internal wall separating them. The two entrances in this layout are in the kitchen and the living room. The kitchen has some basic kitchen furnitures.
The key feature that separates these two plans is the existance of hall. Existing design includes a hall, which decreases the size of the living room but the proposed design doesn't. Other small but important details include the kitchen furnitures and presence of a wall between the stairs and the living room.

Undoubtedly, the most important aspect of a child's growth is education. The conventional method is to send the child to some school to teach him/her the basic moral and academic education. Now a days, some parents are opting to teach their children at home. This essay will talk about the advantages of both methods and compare them.
Teaching at school is the current globally accepted method of education. The child is sent to a school at an early age and starts to learn basic stuff. Children are divided into sections and every child belongs to a specific section or classroom. They gradually learn different stuff and gets promoted to higher class to learn slightly advanced materials than the previous class. The children get assessed in different ways by the teachers and parents get an overall evaluation of their childrens' progress. This is the most formal form of education till this date. The basic advantages of this method is the children gets a formal education which is somewhat acceptable almost every corner of the world. This universal education system emphasises on the academic development of the children. But children also learn social skills as they are communicating with the other children of the class. Kids from diverse background help improve the overall moral standards of one another as they learn to view other's point of views.
Teaching at home is a rather new phenomenon which allows the parents to teach the social, moral and academic stuff at home. This method is gaining popularity due to it's flexibility and parent's full control over the child's development. As there are no strict outline, the parents can choose what they want to teach their children and teach them in their own way. Parents also assert full control over the moral development of the children. The child always gets one on one attention which is rare in schools. This allows the parents to shape their children in thier preferred way. Another advantage of this method is children don't face school bullying which can damage their mental growth.
Despite the teaching at home having major advantages, I still prefer sending children to school as it increases the chances of a more structured and formal education. Also the kids develop a wider sense of acceptance towards other people in schools. A major setback of home schooling is the children can be affected by the stereotypes and conservative views of their parents, which hinders their independent personal growth. Children should get a formal school education unless there are some undeniable difficulties.
