With the increase of employment rate in the area, not only the living standards but also the national economy will be improved greatly.

Although the benefits of organizing sports events within the country can be numerous, there are still some downsides. The most outstanding one is that hosting such large international events demand significant investments of both governments and domestic organizations. This can lead to other issues which affect negatively citizens' lives such as tax rise, less investments on other areas or land occupation.
