English enjoys the status of being an international language and is spoken widely around the globe. In the contemporary era, one cannot deny the importance of English language as it is the language of science and technology. It is also the language of internet. People usually believe that the best way to learn English language is to study the language in countries where English is spoken as the native language. However I personally believe that it is not the only way to learn the language, there are many other effective techniques to learn English.
In the modern era, rightly called the era of technology, internet has become a crucial part of our everyday life. Almost everyone now have an easy access to the internet where we can find a lot of useful applications or websites which offer free learning of English as second or foreign language . Internet has become the best source to get any knowledge without any cost. People usually prefer to use these inventions now a days to get their hands on anything they want to learn or understand. Futhermore, there are a lot of people online who provide paid services for teaching English through different English language courses. Secondly, people may learn English by watching different English films or by reading English books etc. Watching English movies aur series build a great sense of the language. A person might feel it difficult to watch something that they don't understand but in the mean time they start to understand what is being said in movie or the show they are watching. It also improves the understanding of language in various situations. Thirdly, people may learn the language by interacting with the ones who are fluent in English language. This is also one of the beat way to learn any language.
To sum up the whole argument, although to live in an English speaking country and interacting with people who speak English as their first language is the best and effective way to learn it, but I personally believe that there are many other ways to learn English like to pick up any online course, take help from the internet or interection with people who are fluent in English whether native of non native of English speaking countries.
