It is often argued that the best choice for developing children is teaching at home, but some people believe that school is the best place to educate children. Despite the fact that I would say both arguments have reasonableness, I strongly believe that going to school is the greatest option for children.
First of all, it is widely recognized that when teaching children at home, people can more understand their children. They know children's strengths and weaknesses, so they can help them cope with difficulties and develop their strengths in a positive direction. Furthermore, at home, there are less children than in the school, so parents can look after their kids more carefully.
On the other hand, school brings to children a plenty of benefits. Firstly, children will have more relationships when studying at school. They have friends so they can communicate and learning good things from them. Addtionally, the school has their programme to educate children in the best way. For instance, students can learn teamwork, teamwork is a skill which is indispensable in the future. Moreover, variety of entertainment are available at school. For example, they can play football with their friends after studying long hours. This makes children unwind and comfortable when studying.
From above, it can be seen that both the viewpoints have their own merits. However, I tend to believe that in order to sustain in the actual world, pupils should be encouraged to attend school rather than learning on their own at home. As a result, it is hoped that the government would enact severe legislation making school attendance mandatory.
