Some people nowadays due to the pandemic prefers to buy anything from the internet. Whether its books, plane tickets and even buy groceries online. In this essay, an argument that outweighs this claims. The essay will first tackle the the advantages of buying things online, followed by an argument that tackles about the disadvantages of this claim, and how can this be lesson to everyone.
The main reason to start is why are people buying online. The most agreed answer would be its because of the pandemic. For example, in my country the Philippines where many establishments are now closed due to the lockdowns that happens every now and then alongside the higher numbers of covid cases everyday. Many people rely on the internet is way more efficient, where they buy clothes from online shopping and even orders food through food delivery apps. According to several family members, it is the most safe and hassle-free experience when it comes to buying things for the family.
Those who opposed to this claim say that this causes a lot of businesses to close especially the boutiques stores located on malls. However, as I was listening to the news stalls are still open but with limited capacity of poeple going inside. According to the health related offices, it is okay to open malls with proper etiquette. Due to the lockdowns, people are bored living inside their houses so some also claims that they wants to go do it by themselves rather than buying it online which can costs them a lot of money if its delivered in their doorstep.
On balance thought, the fact that ordering online and less contact with other people are more efficient and safe which clearly outweighs the opposed argument that is not safe and can also be a cause on the rising numbers of covid cases.
