The diagrams below show the existing ground floor plan of a house and a proposed plan for some building work.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
You should write at least 150 words.

The diagrams give information about the design of the existing ground floor of a house and a proposed one for some building work.
To start with, the existing floor plan has two entrance doors, one in the front and one in the kitchen. When you enter from the front of the house, there is a hall and stairs on the right. Underneath the stairs is the storage. In the end, there are two internal doors. The left one leads to the kitchen, and the right one leads to the living room. Both rooms are separated by two internal walls.
On the other hand, there are some differences between the existing floor plan and the proposed changes. The entrance doors are similar. However, two internal doors are moved to the front, on the left of the entrance door. There is also no internal wall in the living room. Therefore, the space of the living room is connected with stairs. Stairs are also moved to the back of the building. Moreover, a kitchen furniture is installed on the left of the kitchen.
Task 2

Write about the following topic.
Some people believe that teaching children at home is best for a child's development while others think that it is important for children to go to school.
Discuss the advantages of both methods and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
You should write at least 250 words.

In modern life, more and more people assume that children should be taught at home since it is the best way to improve a child's development. Whereas, other people believe that children should go to school. In my view, both ways have their own benefits.
To begin with, there are some benefits of teaching children at home. The main reason is that when you spend more time with your children, you will be more understanding of your children, such as their characteristics, their hobbies, etc. Therefore you can give them some advice to or not to do something. The other reason contributing to their opinion is that teaching at home can make children have a lot of memorial memories. Some people's houses have a garden or a big yard, where they can play with their siblings.
In contrast, sending children to school is also a big deal for their development. Children can make new friends at school, learn from other people that they have never met before. Teachers will teach them some useful skills, which their parents may do not know. The infrastructure is also better and bigger than their house. There are some things that rare parents will equip at home, such as laboratory, library or even a canteen. When children interact with people out there or experience something new, they will absorb much precious knowledge from school, social or even life.
In conclusion, teaching children at home is not a bad idea. However, in my opinion, it is crucial and necessary for children to go to school as they will learn a lot from their friends, teachers, and everybody around them.
