Writing task 1

The diagram illustrates how carbonated drinks are made.

The procedure is a five step process starting from the water being cleaned, mixed with carbon dioxide to it getting packed for sale. There are different machineries involved in the process as well.

The first stage is the water cleaning process. In this, raw water is filtered after which it goes through a water softner. Chemicals are added after the water is softened and finally it goes to a pump. The next stage is the heating, evaporation and carbonation of the water from stage one. From the pump, water enters into electric heaters where it is warmed. From the heaters, the hot water goes to a cooling pipe where it is cooled down. After cooling, it is mixed with carbon dioxide concluding stage 2.

Stage 3 consists of mixing. Flavours, coloring and syrups are added to the carbonated water in a mixnig tank after which it goes through a filter where stage 4 starts. The filtered carbonated water is then ready to be filled into either bottles or cans. These bottles and cans are packed into boxes which is the final stage after which the packed bottles and cans are sent to supermarkets via trucks.

Writing task 2

Computers being the primary base of the modern world should be used in classrooms for teaching students. But, heavy dependence on technology for education might come with a risk. Despite these risks, I personally advocate that computers should be a part of education because students can learn better with them.

The implementation of computers in education can be advantageous to both students and teachers. Students being able to visualize the topics better will also understand them better. Moreover, they will become technologically efficient and will learn how different softwares work, making them ready for the modern world. Teachers can evaluate students in a better way through computer programs. For instance, they can check plagarism through online platforms and make sure all the students honestly do their own work rather than copying from the web.

While computers can make the learning process much easier, there are certain demerits as well. Students spending a lot of time in front of computers can be prone to a weak eyesight that may eventually affect their health. Although computers are good at making the concepts easier to understand, they cannot teach other aspects of education that an experienced teacher can, for instance, motivating students, clearing their doubts and understanding where the students lack by analyzing their weak areas.

I think computers should be adapted in schools because it enables the students to be up to date with technology and makes their studies interesting. Through these, students will enjoy learning and not just study to get good grades and pass the exams.

To summarize therefore, I believe that if computers are a part of students' education, then they can a be a massive help to students and make them technologically skilled. However, there are certain risks that come due to reliance on computers like they may not clear a student's specific query and a large amount of screen time may be detrimental for their health.
