Do you like your school ? asked my aunt when I was 4 years old. Obviously, my answer was no. However, now when I look back at my years at school, I could not held my tears back because of all the good & bad memories that the place uphold. I perish every single moment that I have been to my school. Schools are not only for imparting education but to inculcate etiquette, moral conducts and social behavior.
Teaching at home will definitely have significant impact on the child's possession of knowledge. With all the dedicated focus given by the teacher there is no doubt that the child will be conceptually sound and he/she will always be in a comfortable atmosphere allowing them to learn and grow in a way they would prefer. Teaching at home also provides a sense of relaxation for parents who are over-protective of their kinds or of kids that require special attention.
However, Teaching at home will not have the same social impacts as what schools offer. At schools, every child is expected to follow uniform code of conduct, establishing the basis of equalitily at a very tender age. Schools also train childerns to empathize and build relationships with other students which will shape the child's social behavior. Schools also conduct regular team building activities which emphasizes the values of sharing.
In conclusion, both schools and home teaching pass on education about worldly concepts yet, schools provide a more engaging environment than home for younger minds to shape and build a world with peace and harmony.
