Home is the first school for the children and parents are the first teachers. For better development and growth, it is better to teach a child at home as home is most comfortable and familiar place to adress all the needs of the child. However, social interactions and connects too are vital parts a child's development for which one must go to the school. This eassy will discuss various advantages and disadvantages of both the methods mentioned above.
Teaching a child at home instead of send him/her to school is favourable for the couples, one of whom is always present at the home to take care of child. Teaching at home saves tution fees and other extra expenses, it also makes sure that child is under good influence and progress can be directly seen. However, this have some cons as well. Some of the disadavantages of teaching Children at home are, it not organized and formal way of teaching, teaching at home is feasible if both the parents are working and the children might be deprived of social interactions, friends and extracurricular activities.
As with teaching children at home, sending children to school too have its own pros and cons. With being able to attend school. children can fulfill their social needs, make friends, particiapate in extracurricular activities. At school children have access to more organized and formal way of studying and to competitive tests and these might help children to be smarter and better. On the other hand, the shorcomings of this idea are also numerous. Parents can have hole in thier budget if children are sent to school and there are concerns of safety and security of the children too. Being away form the parents eyes, children could be in negative influence and its hard to judge the effectiveness of schooling.
In my opinion, until the certain age the childern should be home taught instead of being sent to schools to study. Parents know the best for their children and can provide all the necessary resourece in home environment. Parents must give time to their children for there mental, physical and emotional well being and growth. By being taught at home the safety of children can be ensured, all the necessary knowledge could be provided and it is not even a big strain on pocket unlike these modern private schools.
