Write a report for a university, lecturer describing the information shown below.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

This chart provides information on the olympic medals won by twelve different countries.
On summary USA has most medals in general and has a huge lead by almost 1.500 medals in difference with its first follower Soviet Union.
As it can be seen from the chart, United States has almost 1000 gold medals which nearly equals to all medals their closest chaser Soviet Union got in total. Although the gap between first and the second countries is wide, the following 10 countries are very close to each other on the amount of medal they have. Besides the United States and Australia all of the top 10 countries are from Europe and the last 2 are from Asia. In addition, despite the fact that Australia has less medals than Hungary and Japan has lesser than China, they located above them. Leading country has almost 2500 medals and on top in all three categories, which are gold, silver and bronze.

Some people believe that school children should not be given homework by their teachers, whereas others argue that homework plays an important role in the education of children.
Discuss both of these views and give your own opinion.

While number of people consider homework as a necessary duty; other ones, including me, think that homework has not a huge part in the education of a student and is just a back pain for school children. In this essay I am going to argue both points and give my honest opinion on this topic.
People that think infants should have homework after school has some solid arguments about it. For example, homeworks can make students to realize the topics that they do not understand very well. The main reason of after school duties is to detect the student's knowledge on the lectures that has recently been taught. In addition homework might give students some sort of responsibility and provide them a prepared state of mind before school
On the other hand, I believe homeworks are just an extra work for the most available time of a human life. For example, since It has to be done after school, homework avoids students to socialize, play some games; in other words relax after school. Besides that, most of the homeworks that is been given, are already understood by most of the students and it is just an extrawork which can be overwhelming for a student that has already know the subject. This might lead to a situation, which a student put a distance between school and him/her.
In conclusion, although homework used to be a crucial element for the education and creation of an individual, in today's world the benefits of it has reduced. Juveniles who go to school are already has too much work on their shoulders, homework would just make them dislike school more. Besides that, from my own experiences, msot of the homework that is been given are not just a piece of cakes that can be done quickly. This could possibly reduce the free time and block students to work on their own interests.
