Global Smart Phone Sale Trends.
Smart phones are one of the most exciting digital device our generation has come across, they are compact, powerfull connected devices that enable us to do more than just make phonecalls.
Smartphone sales are hitting all time highs each year, with
Samsung and Apple claiming majority of the market share. from the chart we can observe that Samsung grew it's smartphone sales from 150 million units to 450 million units between 2009 and 2013, Apple on the other hand improved it's sales from 25 million units to 150 million units in the same time period, But when we look closely into the chart we can infer that sales of brands such as Nokia and LG are on a decline, with nokia taking the larget hit. sales for the Chinese band ZTE largely uniform even though it exhibited increace in sales .
From the chart we can observe that Samsung and Apple were the dominant smartphone manufactures by number of units sold, Nokia as a brand is loosing it's footing in the market and losing it's market share to other smartphone makers. LG although afftected by declining sales is at a much better position than Nokia.

Time, Change And Humanity.
Humans have been strolling the earth for over 10000 years or so, some mamals even more, and we have all undergone through drastic changes in our behaviour, mannerisimsm, diet, culture, languages, social structure. Over the thousands of years as a species us humans have went from farming near river banks to conquering the moon, from domesticting wild animals to extracting nuclear energy. All these have helped us in defining our existance as the most intelligent species to ever exist all these feats were achived through constant trail and error by implementing new ideas into action and not by sticking to what's already defined.
With that being stated i also don't think radical changes are a good thing, some times you might need to play by the book like in the case of delaing with Nuclear weapons adoption, and Diplomatic polices, then also just sticking to tradtion is not going to help out in the long term. when opposing change we need to remember some horrible practices we used to perfrom and how we have evolved into the progressive modern society we are today. That journey through time is called change, it takes time.
Personally i'm afraid to being stagnent at any point in time. Just statying the same for all time always is great for someone who is paranoid over exploring new frontiers but we need to understand that they will be left behind the rat race aganist time, sure it's a personal choice but is it worth to stick to your comfor zones and just wait out till you are obsolete .
As one brilliant mind in ancient Grece put it "Change is the only constant" . Yes it's true Change is the only constant in time.
