To commence with, water stored in storage tanks is run through water filters to remove impurities. Thereafter, it runs through softener and certain chemicals are added to the water to get rid of the germs and harmful bacteria. Then, it passes through the pump which releases the water in electric heaters which helps in heating the water. Next, it goes through a cooling pipe which in turn cools down the water for the purpose of carbonation which involves adding carbon dioxide to the resultant liquid. Next, it is passed on to a mixing tank which involves mixing colour, syrup and flavour to it which are the main ingredients of the carbonated drinks. Next, the mixture is sent through a filter which ensures proper quantity and quality of the ingredients. In the modern era, computers have become important and these can benefit students in learning but overdependence becomes risky. It is evident that computers nowadays have become an integral part of our life. Further, I am going to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of usage of computers by students.
On one hand, introduction of computers for the purpose of teaching students can be conducive. It can save time significantly because computers provide access to information from worldwide sources with a single click which can help students proliferate their knowledge about the topics they desire. Further, it in a way becomes a platform to perform extracurricular activities for students as computers nowadays come with various kind of softwares which can be used to learn about activities apart from academics which can be fruitful for students. According to a survey conducted, 95% of the students using computers end up enhancing their skills in some other activities apart from their curriculum.
On the other hand, usage of computers can leave dreadful impacts on students because of the vast number of services offered by computers nowadays. Apart from gaining knowledge, the same resource can be used as a major source of distraction from studies which can be gaming or accessing information not meant for students. Further, the overdependence on technology has made students dubious about their own potential and they rely on computers for even simple calculations. In addition to this, spending more time in front of computers can be detrimental for eyes as well. According to a survey conducted, more than 70% of school students end up wearing spectacles or diminshing eyesight even before completing school.
To encapsulate, computers can be used for gaining knowledge significantly and sharpening skills in schools but overdependence can be futile and deteriorating. In my opinion, yes the schools must implement technological resources like computers to teach students, however, they must have strict usage policies and the firewalls must be in place in order to avoid access to certain material which might be inappropriate.
