The chart illustrates the global mobile phone sales by different brands, including Samsung, Apple, Nokia, LG and ZTE, from 2009 to 2013.

Overall, Samsung, Apple and ZTE experimented an upward trend, while Nokia and LG experienced a downward trend throughout the period.

Nokia was the best-selling mobile phone in 2009, with almost 450 sales. However, it fell slightly in 2011 to around 425, and it decreased dramatically to just 250 at the end of the period. Samsung, on the other hand, escalated its sales substantially, with approximately 230 in 2009, 320 in 2011, and 450 in 2013.

Apple and ZTE increased steadily over the years. At first, Apple only sold around 25 devices, but it rose markedly to 150 in 2013. Additionally, ZTE's sales grew slightly, starting with 50 and ending with about 60 at the end of the period. LG, like Nokia, experienced a gradual decline. Writing task 2

Most people's lives are quite normal and boring, while only a few are out of the ordinary. Many people prefer to experience always the same stuff, while others consider that trying new things leads to great benefits. I completely believe that changes in our lives are a good thing.

A part of the Earth's population thinks that we should always follow the same schedule, avoiding any changes. They prefer to do things that they are used to, in order to reduce and prevent possible conflicts or disasters. By always practising what they are acostumbrated to, people can live without any concern and improve their abilities in those tasks. For example, some remoted civilizations from Asia refuse to develop their technologies, and instead, wants to live as the same way as their ancestors. People's thinking of staying out of trouble makes them want to live by doing the same things.

On the other hand, there are others who thinks the opposite and wants to experiment changes. By facing new threats and leaving their comfort zone, people are more able to develop new capabilities and to stay motivated. Changes are the only way to improve your problem-solving skill, social abilities, and knowledge of the outside world. For instance, many researchers chose their scientific path because they love the risks of constant changes on chemistry and physics. People who loves trying new things tend to be more intelligent and flexible when experimenting unexpected situations.

I do not agree with spending my live following the same schedule and avoiding changes. However, in my opinion, I consider that changes are beneficial to people's lives. Humans need to experience changes to gain more practice when facing new threats, such as working in a company, or studying abroad, in order to be able to manage conflicts.
