Overall, higher number of local students were enrolled than overseas students between the years 2000 to 2010.

In 2000, the total number of overseas students enrolled started from 20000 students whereas the total number of local students enrolled started from 400000 students. The commencing number of foreign students enrolled started from approximately 10000 students whereas the commencing number of local students enrolled started from approximately 190000 students. There was a sharp increase in the total number of admission of international students until 2008 which was approximately 79000 students. Compared to international students, the total number of domestic students increased less sharply until 2006 which was 600000 students. Then it remained steady until 2010. There was a small increase in the total number of foreign students from 2009 to 2010 which was 80000 students. The commencing number of foreign students increased steadily intil 2009 which was 40000 students, then it remained constant until 2010. Compared to that, the commencing number of local students fluctuated till 2008, then declined to 200000 students until 2010.

It is thought by some people that a country can be benefitted from hosting an international sports event, while it is thought by other people that it is not beneficial. In my opinion, it is advantageous for a country to host an international sports event. This essay will discuss both the good and bad sides of hosting an international sports event.

There are many reasons why it is a good opportunity for a country to organize an international sports event. Firstly, this will allow the country to be famous. For example, Bangladesh is a developing country. Not many people know about this country. Hosting an international sports event will attract media to broadcast the event. This will allow people to know about the country. Secondly, Bangladesh also participates in international sports events. Playing in own country can encourage the players to play even better. For example, Bangladesh participates in cricket. Therefore, if the players can play in their own field, it can boost their confidence and motivate them to play better and win for their motherland.

It is believed by some people that it is bad to host an international sports event by a country. There are reasons for it. Some people think that this requires a lot of money which may not be ideal to spend. For example, Bangladesh is a developing country. There are hungry and homeless people, so it is right to think that spending money on hosting a sports event is wrong.

Another reason may be the fear of losing in one's own country. For example, Bangladesh may host an international sports event and Bangladesh team itself may lose the game. This might be a bit embarrassing to the people.

To conclude, I would like to reiterate my opinion that it is good for a country to host an international sports event. Though are some disadvantages, but the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
