It would be argued by some that devoted their lives sticking to the same routine and keep away from changes. In my opinion, however, changes have always been beneficial.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why some believe that devoted their wholes live performing the same actions and get rid of changes. The first one is old habits offer them a safe feeling and comfortable environment. Secondly, they don't want to change anything because they are afraid of new challenges and strange things. Nokia, for instance, is a giant in the mobile phone industry in Finland. Back to many decades, everyone in the world uses a mobile phone with keyboard, so Nokia keeps produce the same product without any innovation. Sleeping in victory, Nokia receives a failure and soon bankrupt when Apple company introducing a brand new smartphone with touch - we call it iPhone nowadays.
On the flip side of the coin, I would argue that change offers good experiences in many various ways. New changes would be a break from the past and an old routine that has become lame and predictable. Mental health and physical could be improved if we approach new experiences. For example, parents from the 60s-70s nowadays are technology blind until their kids teach them how to utilize new gadgets. Some of them change their old habits from reading the newspaper to researching news on the tablet, they don't have to wear glasses because words can be zoomed in and become more clear.
In conclusion, although some people think that keep their lives performing the same plans without changing anything. In my opinion, however, it would be more beneficial to choose the new paths that are gainful for them.
