The bar chart illustrates the global sales of the top five mobile phone brands, namely: Samsung, Apple, Nokia, LG, and ZTE. The data was collected from the year 2009 to 2013.
In 2009, Nokia garnered the most sales, selling approximately 450 million units. Samsung sold 230 million units, followed by LG that made 120 million sales that year. ZTE sold about 50 million units, while Apple made the least sales of a relatively low amount of 20 million units.
Two years later, there is not much of a difference to be observed. While sales did drop a few million units, Nokia remains to be the top-selling mobile phone brand that sells the most units in 2011 and made 420 million unit sales. Samsung gained a large increase in sales, with 330 million units, a whole hundred million units more than in 2009. On the other hand, LG observed a drop in sales, and sold 30 million less, at 90 million units. Unlike in 2009, Apple is now tied with LG, also selling 90 million units. ZTE sold approximately 50 million units, which is the least amount of units sold in 2011.
In 2013, there is a different trend in mobile phone popularity that can be observed. Samsung made approximately 455 million units worth of sales, which makes them the top-selling mobile phone brand as of late. Nokia sold 240 million units, which is 180 million units less than their sales in 2011. Apple has now come in third place, with 150 million units. LG and ZTE sold a close amount of sales, with 160 million units and 150 million units, respectively.
Task 2

Some people prefer to spend their lives doing the same things and avoiding change. Others, however, think that change is always a good thing.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
You should write at least 250 words.

The only thing that is constant in the world is change. Change can be observed in every aspect of a person's life, such as in relationships, education, living situation—you name it. Humans are meant to change, because it is in change that we learn to grow, and that is the whole point of life: is for us to grow and learn through every experience we go through, because it is these experiences that help us become all-around better people.
With that being said, we are meant to go through change, but it does not mean that it is comfortable. Oftentimes, change will burst us out of our little comfort bubble, make us fall to the ground, and let us tend to our own bruises. Change is the lack of a warm blanket in the winter. It is the short, awkward pauses during small talk with a person whom we just met. It is reheating the food you had for dinner yesterday that you didn't even like. Truth be told, change is discomfort itself, and that is why some prefer to live their lives devoid of change, and tracing old patterns because, why not? It's always worked for them.
But other than discomfort, what is change? Change is growth. It is learning to love the how the cold feels, and the way tiny snowflakes stay on your nose and eyelashes. It is being happy with the short pauses, because it is part of the process of getting to know someone new and forming a lifelong friendship with this person. It is being okay with what you are given, so that you are able to give more appreciation to times when there are better food on the table.
Change is essential to human growth, because without it, we would have never discovered the technology we have today that has helped save millions of lives, we would have never formed a strong bond with that person because we were too afraid to approach them, and we would have never learned that we like to play certain musical instruments, or that we want to become a certain profession, or that we like the taste of certain food.
We are who we are because of change, and we will be so much more because of it.
