Writing task 1

This diagram illustrates the process of making carbonated drinks. This procedure includes five stages which are equally essential. It shows large-scale manufacturing, utilizing heavy machinery.

The primary stage is known as water cleaning, in which raw water is passed through a filter, water softener and chemicals are additives to the filtered water. This solution then is passed through the pump and enters the second stage known as heating, evaporation, and carbonation. Electric heaters are used to heat the solution and then passed through a cooling pipe to a container in which carbon dioxide is released into the liquid.

Thirdly the solution is sent into a container containing a turbine in which it is mixed with coloring, syrup, and flavor. Then in the fourth stage, it is filtered and filled into cans and bottles. Finally, in the fifth stage, the cans and bottles are packaged and transported to the supermarket for consumption.

Writing task 2

The modern world is based on technology and computers. Introduction of computers into classrooms and utilizing computers for direct teaching purposes is suggested. But dependence on computers for education is a risk for student's comprehension abilities. I believe that there is a need to discuss both pros and cons of the introduction of computers into classrooms and direct teaching programs.

To begin with, today's world is almost completely digitalized. Computers carry more information than a whole library and are also tools for better understanding of a subject by digital videos, images, and many more. Integrating computer programs with direct teaching can prove to be useful in understanding a topic with vivid tools of technology. As proven, when all our senses are involved while learning about a specific topic brings out the best in our ability of memory. Combining technology with education can reap many benefits.

On the contradictory, the cons of integrating computers in classrooms outweigh the pros. With the click of a key, we can access an ocean of information. As beneficial as it might seem, this slows the human brain significantly making students lethargic when asked to study from books. Computers are likely to distract students while studying, the access to social media or any other entertainment is likely to drag the attention of the students away from class. Technology is seen distracting students from their studies.

To sum it up, if used properly technology can be pretty useful in the educational sector but unfortunately, students get easily distracted by technology hence the integration of computers in classrooms carries a certain degree of risk.
