The diagram illustrates the step by step process on how olive oil is being manifactured.
Overall, it can be clearly stated that the method of production and manufacturing of olive oil comprises of 7 stages. The first stage is the picking of olives and ends with the storage and sales of the finished product.
The first step involves the manual process which require human intervention which is picking of the olive fruits from the Olive tree. This then followed by putting the olives in a device with cold water, this is called the rinsing process. After rinsing, the fruits are placed in the machine that has belts in which it's being smashed which in turn produces olive paste and olive stones. These are then placed in a bag with holes and then goes into the machine which undergoes the pressing and separation process and finally the end result could be in a form of oil or water. The last stage of the process is the storage and sale in which the final product are ready to be purchased in markets.

Nowadays people waste a lot of food that was bought from shops and restaurants. Why do you think people waste food? What can be done to reduce the amount of food they throw away?
You should write at least 250 words.
Recent topic of debate is that people consumes a lot of food bought from shops and restaurants in which they can't finish completely resulting to food being thrown away. This caused a lot of waste on food and immediate action should take over. I will be covering the points as to why people tend to waste food and what are the things that we can do to decrease the volume of it that are being thrown away.
People nowadays tend to do impulse buying not only on food but on other material things as well. This could be one of the reason why food wastages are common. Food shops and restaurants tend to succeed in making their food items appealing to masses which resulted to people buying more than what they really need or what they really want. I am guilty on this because I noticed I tend to purchase more especially on desserts which are "eye-catching".
So what can be done to minimize foods that are being wasted? One solution that I can think of is that food shops and restaurants should establish a process on what needs to be done if there are leftovers. Recently, I have seen a video on youtube wherein a concept called "food bank" was introduced. I think this is a great example wherein leftovers can be placed in a location with proper storage facility and food handling and then finally be distributed to those who are poor and needy. Another solution would be turning it as fertilizers on edible plants so that in return we can produce more vegetable and the society can benefit from it.
As a conclusion, food waste is common and it has a huge impact in our environment. We should all take a step and do our part now to stop it before it's too late.
