The graph below shows US consumers' average annual expenditures on cell phone and residential phone services between 2001 and 2010.

Write a report for a university, lecturer describing the information shown below.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Writing task 1

The line-graph indicates the number of consumers using telecommunications services from 2001 to 2010. Overall it was clear tha the money users spent for cell phone services rose sharply during the period while in contrast, residential phone services not much be popular and tapered off gradually over 9 years.

From 2001 to 2006, it increased approximately three hundreds dollar in using cell phone. Besides, nearly two hundreds dollar was cutted down when people did not tend to use public phone services between 2001 and 2010. This two lines are cutted at 2006 at five hundreds dollar.

During the rest of time, 2006 to 2010, more and more customers invested in consuming mobile phone services as its convinient and grew up to about eight hundreds dollar. However, users who using residential phone services continue dereased slightly so the average annual expenditures cutted from five hundreds to four hundred dollar during that time.

Pollution of rivers, lakes and seas is a major concern for people who seek to protect the environment.

What are the possible causes of water pollution, and what effects does this have on animal life and human society?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Writing task 2

Although you are living in developed or developing countries, our societies always face off the pollution problems, one of them are water pollution. This essay will examine the major causes and possible influences of this phenomenon.

To begin with, there are several explanation that are worth mentioning about this issue. All of we concern a lot of about garbages inside and float on the rivers, lakes and seas. Most of them are plastics bags and cans. So where are they come from? People who living near water areas had a trend to arbitrarily dispose of garbage contained organic waste especially their leftovers. Or some destinations concluded rivers, lakes or seas sites, visitors sometimes eating and drinking, camping and returning without cleaning the wastes and by that ways will contaminate groundwater. All of this aspests can link to reason the water pollution acuting nowadays.

The effects of this have been and will continue to be very serious. Firstly, a marine ecosystem will effect on animals and organisms under water to be under threat as habitat are destroyed gradually. Secondly, visitors or local people can not have a pure water to use. For example, travellers can not go to the beaches because the water are too dirty, plastics bags and cans drift on the seas. Human society can not use the river water for personal purpose like before as its water are too smell enough to use.

In conclusion, in this era of high technology, people should raise awareness of environmental issues, individuals should also try to recycle as much as possible to protect more our environment not only water sources but also another sources.
