Exploring space requires a huge number of missions that cost a lot. Some people think that the money spent on exploring space can be invested to meet the needs of the earth instead and I could not agree more on that.

Undoubtedly that missions are being operated through space ships, satellites and remote devices are extremely important in long-term consideration as without them none of the daily using technology would exist nowadays such as televisions, internet, google maps, etc. However, our planet is facing an infinite number of serious issues starting from global warming, passing by the lack of energy to the imbalance between agriculture production and earth's population.

In my point of view, the yearly operations to space have to be minimized at the moment to meet the demand of the earth by spending that money on the earth to prevent it from being Impoverished. A relevant example of that would be the crucial decision made by NASA a few months ago when the remoted ship had landed successfully on Mars land in a mission of search for a life on the red planet. Billions of dollars had been spent on that mission to find new ways for saving humanity from the unknown future while our earth is the worthy planet to find solutions to overcome the mentioned previous issues.

Looking beyond the tabloids and outside of the box is an innovative way to secure the future whereas priorities should go the present in the first place. Only then, long terms goals have to be discussed.
