Writing task 1

The given diagram provides information regarding the making of carbonated drinks. There are 5 big stages in the process.

The first step consists of purifying the water through a filter until it meets the water softener and chemicals. Then, using the pump, the water reaches the next stage, where the heating evaporation happens using heaters and a cooling pipe.

After the cleansing and carbonation, the fluid is sent to a mixing tank, where everything regarding the taste, smell and look of the drink is being mixed in. After adding the colouring, syrup and flavour and also using a filter, the bottles and cans finally end up being filled.

Due to the fact that the process of the drink itself is over after it is poured into the recipients, the next step is putting the containers into their packaging. In order to reach their final stage, they are being well shut, put into a delivery truck and sent on their way to the supermarkets.

To summarize, the process that carbonated drinks go through before ending up on the shelves is a complex one. While having a well defined journey with clear steps, it also requires a lot of equipment and materials.

Writing task 2

It is obvious that our modern society is surrounded by technology in every aspect, leading to the necessity to learn the proper way of using a computer from an early age. However, whether there is a risk in making the whole teaching and learning experience depend on a computer is debatable and varies based on our personal beliefs.

The way in which information is provided has certainly changed in the last decade, which means that updating the educational system is mandatory. Because of the reality of what the job market has become, it is important for students to be prepared for the outside world when they finish their degrees. That means that consistently working on a computer is beneficial for their hands on experience which makes getting into their work field straight out of school way easier and familiar for them. By learning to use a computer in their classroom, the children will know how to benefit from certain apps without having to later on learn individually.

On the other side, even though the technology is nowadays well-advanced, there is always the possibility of a crash in the system, which makes it useful for everyone to know how to work efficiently without any new equipment that may stop working. In addition to this, it is harmful for human beings to constantly be in front of a screen, as it makes us lose our roots and natural instincts, while also ruining our sight. Not only do computers make us exhausted, but they can also cause headaches or other serious health issues that might even affect our mental state. It is known that by eliminating traditional ways of learning and replacing them with new gadgets, it is common for children and teenagers in development to lose sense of their creativity and modernize their every action without using their own abilities.

In my opinion, it is essential for schools to still use traditional teaching methods, while maintaining a balance and still showing us how to work on different computer programmes. In that way, we will maximize our skills and be prepared for every event that we might come across. That is because every human with a job, especially in a corporate environment, will learn how to use modern technology sooner or later, so instead of only focusing on a skill that will still be developed, we should be encouraged to learn as much as we can in as may different ways as possible. As a result, when we get older and look back on our abilities, we will be able to say that we worked on both our manual and digital knowledge and are able to use it in any circumstances.

To sum up, the digitalization of classroom brings to the table both advantages and disadvantages. While getting used to the basis of the modern world is beneficial, I believe that knowing our roots and creating a balance is what would make our learning experience the most productive and helpful for the future generations.
