The diagram shows the procedure for university entry for high school graduates.

Write a report for a university or college lecturer describing the information.

You should write at least 150 words.

Writing Task 1

The given diagram illustrates the necessary process to ensure the access to university after the high school graduation. It gathers all the possible scenarios, considering both the rejection and the acceptance, with all their consequent steps.

Firstly, the candidates must graduate from their high school, finding the application form in the website, downloading it and filling it up with their information. Next step requires the presence of the admin, who, once recieved the applications, decides whether the candidate is rejected, accepted or could get a provisional acceptance. In this last case, he is required to integrate the application with further documentation, eventually sending it back to the admin.

If the candidate is rejected, he can consider whether to cancel the application or to complete another application for an alternative course, heading back to the admin.

Instead, if the candidate's application gets accepted, he can proceed by choosing the subjects, followed by the registration with Dean. Consequently the process concludes and the candidate can finally enter university.

Task 2

You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.

Some people say that the experiences a child has before starting school have the most influence on their future life. Others say that experiences as a teenager, especially at school, are more influential. Discuss both views and give your own opinion?

You should write at least 250 words.

Experiences in early life can literally build one's life up, that's the only real fact that everyone can confirm. The nature of these experiences doesn't change this proven fact- respectively, good experiences are thought to influence positively on one's future, just like bad experiences might generate a negative future for someone who lived them on his skin.

It is proven by the main currents of psychology that during the pre-scholar years, children's brain can literally absorbe every signal that the surrounding environment spreads around them. According to this fact, they naturally learn to act and react to different situations and signals, learning actual behavioural patterns to use during their lives. Because of that, they start creating upon these reactions their real personality, affecting their whole existence. This period before school is considered one of the most important steps where children develop their identity, which implies an actual solid base hard to reset in the future.

On the other hand, others think firmly that the most important age to build one's future is in those teenager years. After all, it might be in some way hard to recall what actually imprinted us as we where so young, on the contrary, everyone remembers very well every single emotion and feeling experienced during adolescence. In particular, all the decisions made during those years could be generally what led us to the situation we are in this moment.

In brief, everything we experienced during our early life can in some particular way influence our present and our future, but i think that what we learn during our very first years of existence create the essential roots of our lives, from where everyone can then build their future.
