The charts show how tourism to two countries changed over a 50-year period.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

You should write at least 150 words.

Writing task 1

The charts illustrate the comparison of the tousims of two counties, which is Australia and Germany, after 50 years. The units of measurement is by percentage.

Overall, The majority of the tourism in the said countries are from Europe in year 1960 as well as in 2010, except in Australia in 2010 that was leaded by the Asian tourists.

The tourism in Australia in the year 1960, Europeans are the main tourists with 53% followed by the British with 25%, while Americans and Asian tourists are the least in visiting their country with 12% and 10%, respectively. However, the changes of tourism were apparent after 50 years, that people from Asia was the major tourist in the said country being the least before and spiked to 63%, surprisingly. The other 3 groups, which is Britain, Europe, USA were having a small proportion of 20%, 10% and 7%, respectively.

In Germany, Europeans were also dominated the tourism population in 1960 with 45%, Americans got 25%, whilst Britain (20%) and Asian (10%) were the lowest. However, in 2010, The Europeans were still the leading tourists as well as the Americans with 29%. Asian and Britain were still the least with 25% and 6% respectively.

Computers are now the basis of the modern world. They should therefore be introduced into classrooms, and their programs used for direct teaching purposes. However, dependence on computers in teaching may carry a certain degree of risk to students.

Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

Give reasons for your answer, and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
